Alpha Nickel Mine Development Progress

| | June 28, 2007. MBMI RESOURCES INC. (MBR:TSXV) ("MBMI") ("the Company") reports that subsidiary, Narra Nickel Mining and Development Corp ("Narra Nickel") is advancing development of the Alpha nickel mine site area in Palawan, Philippines in preparation for initial nickel material shipments to its first three refinery clients. Initial shipments will commence immediately upon adequate quantities of nickel material being transported from the mine site by truck to the stockpile area on the coast. Wet weather conditions have caused some delay in the immediate production schedule but are not expected to affect total quantity projected to be shipped in 2007.
The mining area has been cleared, and nickel material is currently being sorted within the mining zones and transported to the stockpile area at Narra Nickel's port facility. The mine road to the stockpile area is being improved and widened in order that nickel materials can be transported safely, and effectively, from the mine site to the stockpiling location. The Causeway has been extended to accommodate barge loading, and scheduling preparations for bulk ore freighters have commenced.
Narra Nickel is continuing to progress with a Financial and Technical Assistance Agreement ("FTAA") application which upon issuance will allow development of a full scale mining operation.
MBMI and its Philippine partners jointly control a 100% interest in eight nickel laterite material projects in Palawan and Samar, Philippines covering an area greater than 22,000 hectares where the objective is to develop a series of major suppliers of high-grade nickel products to the primary nickel consumers in Asia.
